Default ** Official C5 Rear Diffuser Pre-Order SALE **

First off, I am not taking credit for this at all, Rob (Stealth02) built this and got as far with it as he could. Once he was done with the prototype he contacted me about getting them mass produced. I'm sure most of you have already seen his thread.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-progress.html

Once we got the prototype my manufacturer started working on it to make sure the fit an finish was perfect. These are being made here in the USA, which means once you take these out of the box all you need to do is bolt it on and your done. They will not require any prep work to get them to fit. These will also be available in OEM body colors (but I still need to get that pricing) these require NO CUTTING of the rear bumper at all to install. Right now we are at the mold making stage and we expect that to be done in the next few days. We expect parts no later than 3-4 weeks.

Retail on these will be $799 + shipping (and Paypal fees)
Pre-Order pricing will be $699 + shipping (and Paypal fees)

They will come with everything needed to install them. There is also a lot of info in the thread above that Rob had posted. I will be taking payments in full as splitting them up makes it too confusing. Once I get payment I will start a list here with your screen name. Below are pictures of the diffuser. The ones on the car were some that Rob had posted when he was working on it, in white they are from manufacturing after getting all the gaps tightened up and corrected.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Due to the demand for carbon we will go ahead and get those started and take pre-orders on those as well. Since we obviously haven't started molds on those etc we are expecting an 8-12 weeks (probably be less but that gives us a good window) remember these pieces will be high end carbon (100% carbon, no glass reinforcement) Since these are a higher cost and the wait is longer I will go ahead and take deposits of 50% to lock you in at the initial pre-order price. I will add you to the list with payment status next to your name.

Pricing is carbon fiber is $1199 retail
Pricing for Pre-orders is $999 + shipping and paypal fees

Please PM me to order

1. Sfc rick - Paid in Full (FIBERGLASS)
2. Arc07 - 50% Down (CARBON)
3. Mike Plummer - 50% Down (FIBERGLASS)
4.
5.

Will these be attached with a combo of existing screws and double sided tape or what?

Will they fit properly? The pictures show a poor fit.

Any estimates on the shipping costs? That could add a lot to the price.

I'll have to get manufacturing to get me a box dimension. I can't see it being more than $100. If I had to guess I'd say $65-90 for most people. These will ship out of FL.

From certain angles it looks like all it will do is act to trap a bunch of air behind the bumper. Any type of testing on these whatsoever, cfd, tuft testing, anything?

$65 -90 to ship a box that's around 12 x 19 x 69"? Seems low. Assuming that's shipment only; box, packing, packing labor all inclusive in the 799 price... ?
Are the slots in the stock rear fascia for exhaust system cooling? Does this close that off?

Well based off of boxes we used to ship our lip kits from this manufacturer is what I'm basing this price off of. Those were huge boxes and shipping wasn't that bad.

Keep in mind right now the price is $699 + shipping not $799.

As far as cooling the exhaust, I honestly think that is overstated. I had an aftermarket bumper with a diffuser on my old C5Z for years and never had an issue.

Honestly it might be a while if at all. These have to do well before we consider spending money for another mold to make them in carbon.
