Honestly I just don't understand some people. Why on earth would you buy a black one?

I hope you have much enjoyment from your new ride. I changed the valve springs on my 03, just thought it was cheaper than buying a new motor. Mine has 13K on it, don't drive it much but I love the car.

Best of Luck.

I have no clue why anyone would EVER buy a black Z06.....lol!

Between fixing up the Evo and buying this, I'm tight on cash. Ugh. But it does make sense to do it.

Thank you for the kind words!

Very nice, very similar to mine (apart form black wheels). Have fun driving and modding.
The Lancer, yikes... smart move away from that IMO.

Well I had (3) turbos fail in <2 years. It as a stupid fast car when I was on E85 / 30psi. But literally every time at WOT I was just waiting for something to go catastrophically wrong. After upwards of $12-15k in extras/repairs/etc it was time to cut my losses.

Happy to be here. Everyone is so nice. I love it. Thank you! I'm glad she's stock so I can do everything my way. Excited to see what comes of this amazing piece of machinery.

Welcome to the site and great find on the Z. The moment you step on the gas and get used to the power expect your wallet to get quite a bit lighter. Check the C5Z section for info on the valvesprings. I can't remember off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure the 02's and early 03's are most proned to failure.
