What is it worth???????
A friend of mine owns 7 Vetts, from a 1961 270hp 4speed to 2010 ZR1. In the collection is a 2003 50th Aniv. Conv. Auto with SEVEN ORIGINAL MILES. The car was trailered home from the Selling dealer and still has the factory plastic on the seats. This car has never had plates put on it, and we are sitting here wondering WHAT IS IT WORTH??????? The original window sticker (that is still on the window) is $57495......

Well, it's actually a 50th anniversary car. If I had to make a guess on the worth, I'd say low to mid-30s or so, for the right buyer. And that is just a guess.

It might be worth more to the right collector. I knew a guy that bought the 25th Anniversary edition new, I think it was the pace car, trailered it home and put it in his collection never to be driven. I don't think he will make a killing on it if he ever sells it. Now if it was the 10th anniversary Vette with 7 miles on the odometer it would be priceless.

IT'S a CAR... if it's NOT driven it's not worth anything...

Somebody lost a lot of money on that deal. Pool of buyers for that car will be very small. My buddy bought one last year with 26,000 miles for $26,000, and it looks brand new, even the bottom of it. That car MIGHT fetch $30,000, might not too. Nobody that's going to drive it will pay more than that, I don't believe. That car just might be full of bugs that never got worked out.

Your friend is in for some disappointment.

I think it could fetch mid to upper 30K but ............ The market will be slim for someone willing to pay that for a car that will require alot of $$$$ to get it road worthy. My guess is the next owner will not drive it either.

I'd like to see what it would hammer for at Barrett Jackson.

If it has been kept in a climate controlled environment, change the oil and battery and it's ready to go. Parts don't go bad or wear out sitting on the shelf. It will probably not be driven and may end up in a museum years down the road.

Otherwise who knows. It'll take just the right buyer to pay the right price.
IMO, a $30K+ loss with no enjoyment ever driving the thing. Pointless, kinda sad.

Your friend needs to remember something I learned on these forums last month. THEE most common 2003 Corvette is the Anniversary edition. As I recall someone stated there were over 13,000 of them. Don't hold me to that number, but if they are that common, it doesn't help the value. On the plus side, not all special edition Corvettes are good looking cars but the 2003 anniversary edition was done in excellent taste in my opinion.

being new and only having 7 miles on it only holds value to someone who wants that car with 7 miles on it. To your average buyer it's only worth what KBB says with the miles taken into consideration. And people seldom get what KBB says the value is.
I don't know what KBB says it's worth but what they say is TOP dollar except for that collector buyer or someone who just wants that car.
I would not pay in the thirties for it myself, but maybe there are people who would. But finding that person is going to take some work.
just my opinions of course

only known sales that are similar that i'm aware of are
02 z06 with 14 miles $36k
01 coupe auto base 163 miles $24k
seems like this one should be worth around the price of that z06.
35k maybe?>
there's really not a lot to get comps in order to get a value
