For a basically stock C5 (only mods are a Blackwing and Corsa Indy Pace Car catback), is a set of 1 7/8" headers the right size or would 1 3/4" headers be better? If the latter, do you plan to expand you offerings to include the 1 3/4" headers?

In every case a 1 7/8" header is going to make more power than a 1 3/4", which is why we made the 1 7'8" headers. Why pay the same money for less. We do not have any plans to make a 1 3/4". There are tons of test and threads that have addressed this directly over the years and proven this.

Sorry for some reason this didn't show up on my thread history. Had to go digging for it to find it this morning.

We couldn't agree with you more. This cam is truly a very well rounded cam that provides great power and sound without sacrificing drivability. We are slowly putting more of our cams on the site like this one. This one is our High-Roller cam. We have partnered with Bullet Racing to proved excellent power and reliability to our customers. If your int he market for a cam give us a call, we will gladly fix you up with a custom grind for your application.

That is true up top, but for low modded cars (stock or light cam, no heads or intake work), the 1 3/4 headers will produce and yield better mid range torque.

Once you start adding more power mods then yes 1 7/8 s are better.

BTW, thanks for making quality headers affordable. Will be nice to see how they compare on the dynos to the competitors.

awesome thanks! i have a few questions for you folks, will there be high flow cats offered? do you have any dyno tests of before and after the header install on stock and modified engines? and last but not least, how much hp&tq can be gained on a stock LS1 with your cam and header upgrade, ballpark figure is fine.

thanks for your time

No catted version offered and we wont offer one for a while due to our production facility struggling to keep up at this point. The dyno numbers are within a few of every other said brand in 1 7/8" out there. There are only so many ways to reinvent the wheel (if you will). The cam featured, you will see gains of about 50rwhp and about 35rwtq and the drivability is excellent. This was the first cammed car the owner had ever owned and he had no complaints about the drivability and loved where the hp and tq presented itself. The car is very quick out of the hole and the power comes on fast. All together with cam and headers this car made 416rwhp and 377rwtq conservatively tuned in 100F and 90% humidity.
