I am a heavy equipment operator so I can't drive my Vette daily or it will be destroy and I can't get on some jobs with it. My DD was my 99' F250 SD (now it just sits and is used for snowy days or when needed) extended cab 4x4 7.3 diesel but I got tired of driving it and the distance to the jobs went from only 20 miles a day to 50 to 150 miles per day so a few years ago I bought a 2010 VW Jetta TDI. The car pays for itself with what I save on gas. I practically got the car for free.
I drive a 2009 Saturn Aura.........(it is a distant cousin to the Vette you know)
Its Carbon Flash has the 3.6 engine with automatic tranny and paddle shifters. I do wish my Vette had the bluetooth, usp port and the heated seats that the Aura has.
Whats your daily driver?
My daily driver is either my '93 Z28 6 spd. Or '06 Monte Carlo SS. I only own Chevys!
My dd is my 2002 Dakota R/T pickup.
Bought it new in 2002.
Just turned 56000 miles.
It has been extremely dependable.
In all the years I have had it, other than regular maintenance, I have only had to replace the radiator, and starter.
I think they gave out due to age, certainly not miles.
Replaced the tires, not because they were worn, but they were ten years old.
Been a great pickup, and don't ever want to sell it.
