I could never do that. No art talent at all. When you get it done maybe I can cruise up and see it in person. Not that far away. I will be in Everett tomorrow. I am up that way a lot. How hard was the whole car plastidip? I am thinking about doing mine wheels and all flat black. Make it look sinister. The C5 coupe not the C6. Love the JSB too much.

It's not as bad as you think to dip the whole car, but I have definitely learned about a few trouble spots on our C5's, that are hard/impossible to cover (like the side-view mirror to body seal is high in silicone, and plasti dip will NOT stick to it). Since you'll be in Everett, and your interested in it, you could swing by and see me do it in person, I'm actually dipping a 1980 240D tomorrow for a friend. I'll leave you these pics of when mine was matte, and satin black (different paint jobs) and one of my wheels after I dipped them (masked off the lips, and left them chrome). Drop me a pm if you wanna come by and see the cars tomorrow.

Quite different - may be an opportunity for a Sharpie sponsorship.

Did not see this until I was back home. Thanks for the invite. I wish I had seen it sooner.

Hey folks, been a while, but I'm still here, promise! Did both of these today. Gotta say, long straight lines...hard to do free hand O_0 The AK47 in cards actually spells out my nick-name from work, since I'm Erik with AK, figured it was a creative way to put my signature on it...Stay tuned

I have no idea if i love it or hate it, but you do have talent and it's hard not keep checking back to see your progress.

This is great!! Subscribed to follow your progress and good on you for doing something different.

Mine is currently dipped in black and next week the kids at a cancer recovery home are going to paint all over it. Should be good fun though I'm not expecting a very well planned artistic work at the end.

I was wondering about that as well. Though maybe because AKs are Russian.

My car is going to be at the Exotics @ Redmond Town Center car show tomorrow from 8-11, if anyone from WA wants to see it in person. I'll also be doing more freehand work on it while I'm there, and as usual, I'll post pics of my progress after the show, stay tuned
