Default Just got a 50th anniversary

When the 50th came out my wife and I said that one day we would get one of them. Well that was 12 years ago and as my wife turns 50 this year I decided the timing was right to have a 50th for 50. We found a converable with only 45k that is in great shape. We bought it 2 weeks ago and it has a new home next to my 35th anniversary. We have gone to two show and it is so much fun having two anniversary cars side by side. Not to mention the contrast of the two cars. We are so happy to have the 50th as it is the most beautiful color combo that I have ever seen. Just wanted to share this with my friends here. Hope to hear some more 50th anniversary stories.

Two great looking Vettes. The AE Red is one of my all time favorites for the Corvette.

Great choice in cars. I just picked up a very similar one a few weeks ago. Maybe we'll meet up and compare sometime. Maybe at Cars & Coffee or one of the local Corvette shows.

Thank you. I had to replace the caps on my Boise amps and got the back ones working and one front needs more work. The drivers side still does not work. I found a used one and will try to fix it. Does his work?

Corvette SSX, I noticed that I still showed living in Cypress. We are now in Nashville other wise I would take you up on comparing. If you ever come to Nashville let me know. I love to talk VETTE.

Default 50th for the 50th sounds perfect

I bought my 50th AE Vert locally from a collector. He also had a 40th so I bought it too on the same day.

Had a 35th 4+3 as well. All gone but ibgolfin is still happy w/the vert.

The 50th anniversary Vette is something special. Best of luck with both cars.

Love them both!!! My wife and I "almost" bought a 35th years ago, she got cold feet!
