I'm looking to buy a C5. But having a problem with colors. Is there anywhere I can go (online) to see the difference between the silver colors? I like the pewter and wonder how it compares to all of the other gray, silver colors. Thanks

You could try a Google search on silver/gray C5s. Should provide you with plenty of pictures to see the differences. Good luck on your search.

I had a 2000 coupe that was light pewter metallic in color. IMO, it is an outstanding color on the C5 and really wish they would bring it back on the current generation car. It did not show dirt or scratches and as mentioned above, it looked a little different in color depending on the lighting.

Looking at the cars on the net will be like listening to the exhaust videos for the sound you want... NOT
Go to some corvette shows so you can SEE the colors and pick the one you like the best... Like Jack mentioned our... Medium Spiral Gray car changes color with the light...

First of all................Welcome

My favorite color is:
My Medium Spiral Gray Metalic.
It changes hues in different lighting conditions.
I'm sure others will post their Shades of Gray..........I mean Silver

it also depends if you want a z06, coupe, or vert because some models aren't available in all the colors

This is my pewter 02 C5. In the sun the metal flake really sets the car off! Very pleased with this color.

After posting I got to thinking about it and only makes sense to try and see the colors in person. What I was wondering is if one of the other gray/silver colors was similar in appearance to the pewter. I've seen the pewter and really like it, but that narrows my choices.
Thanks

There are a lot of Chevy trucks from the late 90's to early 2000's in Pewter so keep an eye out for that, it is a great color. I have a '99 1500 in pewter.
