The system sounded good on the drive by.... but I'm concerned about the rasp... if you want to test the worst case scenario.. ( you don't have to respond back.. take the car out, and get on the highway at 1800 t0 2000 rpm and sustain that rpm,,, IM very sure you will here what appears to be harmonic vibration.. so check that out, if you do any highway driving... if you can tolerate that vibration for a couple hours then, all is good.. but if it rasps as I head on the lift.. it will drone at cruise..
I will never sugar coat anything... its much like having dirty toilet paper on your shoe and no one will tell you... I'll tell you, and you will thank me for it...
But as I have found out , the secret f life is to be happy..... if this system makes you happy then that is great.... that's why they make vanilla and chocolate... people have different taste... You asked for mine.. Ive been around this car for a while...

I like the sound during the drive-by; would be interesting to hear it at WOT too.
I agree with ET regarding performance gains...would be good to know before/after results in that area.
From an aesthetic stand point, I prefer the typical four tips (Ti, Corsa, B&B, etc) on a stock C5 rear end. The single outlet that you have gone with would look fine on a rear end that was (originally) designed to integrate that type/size of outlet. IMO it doesn't integrate with and/or enhance the stock C5 design.
Enjoy your car though...looks like you're having fun with it!

Well apparently I was doing something right for 40 years because GM paid me, and never missed giving me a pay check, and not only that I've been retired for 15 years from GM and they still continue to pay me every month without fail... So I must have been doing something right.
Nice project you have there. Sounds great and looks great. Thank GOD I have a 2002 z though. Or else I would sell it because the engineers before that failed in so many ways. Keep up the demolition of whatever it is that you want to improve . Its always great news to see someone replace parts on the vette because it is your vette. Do as you please.
Did I mention it sounds and looks great?

hi I'm the shop that built this system , yes we can do it again were actually doing a dual tip version and quad tip version . the oval exit was something different we wanted to try as rekcuf was into thinking outside the box, as far as the drone goes they are surprisingly quiet inside the car , they do have a little bit of a raspy sound that is not for everyone ! I have ran just about every type of muffler you can possibly try on a c5, I'm very very impressed with the fact that they do not drone inside the cabin at low rpm freeway speeds , hope this helps some of the questions on this subject !

Interested in hearing WOT and perhaps a dyno clip if you have one definitely a different sound. It's almost like I'm hearing a little bit of Italian flat plane V8. I've been watching Black Widow for a while now, growing on Instagram. First Vette I heard these mufflers on was Brian Hobaugh's '65 which I'm sure many of you are familiar with, but I was wondering when they would be applied to newer cars.
