I removed my original post... only because, you said the car isn't built yet ( under construction ) ... the exhaust system should be designed and built " After "the car is built not before. So much for Mullenix Racing in Simi Valley

Normally I would not offer up a negative comment but you said" enjoy "...and you didn't show any performance gains from a performance shop that should have shown dyno numbers before and after to show the gains made by the system. When GM was working with the three exhaust manufacturers to develop a factory exhaust system and GM part number for the Indy pace car.. which as we all know was awarded to Corsa and became the Corsa Indy Pace Car.. Corsa wrote the book on the Science of factory Exhaust tuning. The Corsa Indy Pace car exhaust system was the second thing I put on my car. it followed right behind the column lock bypass.
Car is still under construction, but thank you for your opinion.

I do appreciate your knowledge on Corvettes and your opinions. However it seems like you are busting my chops right out of the box!I'm just posting a video of my car being built with Black Widow exhaust.Am I not supposed to post under construction videos or pictures, only finished projects? Some people want to see how it was done. I didn't want to go with the Corsa system, because I wanted to try something unique on my 'Vette.Yes it's raspy & I know it is not for everyone.

REKCUF - It's called the internet, you will get all kinds of comments including some you might not appreciate.

As they say it comes with the territory, don't get too excited or worried!

I can't get it to play so I have to refrain from any comments regarding the exhaust.

I hope you keep posting. I like to see what others have tried and how it turns out.

Yes, any mod will not be the right thing for everyone, but seeing different options helps a lot of people decide on their own mods.

I was not trying to bust your chops.... that's the reason I removed my original post....
Of course you can post pictures and video of your car in any stage of construction.
My comment was that, when you said " Enjoy "... it gave me some permission to offer my opinion.. I did that with the idea, that I have have a lot of experience with this car... AS I said... I did not like the look, or the sound... and since you did not offer any before and after dyno numbers... you don't have any to offer... A custom exhaust is built for looks and or performance... if its looks , it can be done at any stage of the construction. But..If it is built for performance, then is isn't done until the engine is built, and then the exhaust is tuned to extract as much exhaust pulsing as possible...pulled evenly from both banks of the engine, based on the actual engine design of that particular engine Since my comment and time was based on both factors, aesthetics ( both sound and looks ) and also performance..

Since you offer no performance gains...I could not understand your choice.... since you didn't. The only thing I could comment on was the aesthetics... the sound and the looks.. And in both cases, I did not like either... its just an opinion... not trying to bust chops, but offer an honest opinion..... much like telling someone they have two different color socks.... it might be embarrassing but, the worst would be .. allowing that person to go around all day and have people talk about them behind their back.

Many people would argue, that if you don't have nothing nice to say, Don't say anything...
Many people on this forum have thanked me over the years, for my honesty...and the knowledge I do not sugar coat anything... ( a very valuable thing ) if someone wants the truth...

This forum is filled with sugar coaters.... its admirable... but its not in the best interest of the OP... unless he can't handle the truth... and only want to hear how good he looks with two different colored socks on his feet.

Most people start out saying in Private message, I can trust and appreciate your honesty..
I removed the original post, because I didnt not want to offend you... "YOU" copied that post before I removed it and allowed it to remain in your thread..
I probably care too much ... it would have been much easier for me t just say it looks great man...sounds terrific....and move on...but that would have made me a liar, and less credible than I would like to be perceived.
If I hurt your feeling with my honesty, I apologize... I'm only re addressing your comment on busting your chops...which is way different than being honest. If I thought the system looked good and sounded good... but then I just wanted to bust your chops , then "that" would be a lie...
If you would have preferred a lie...you would never get that from me...

Bill aka ET

I have no problem removing all of my comments in this thread...just PM me and I will be happy to do so... I was just offering you some honesty, with out intent of malace

Everybody has a different opinion.
I think it sounds very good. Better than the Corsas IMO.
The only thing I would do in the looks department would be to chrome or polish the center outlet.
When it's done you should record a full throttle run, it would be nice to hear it winding out.

What a joke. The first mod almost anyone does is exhaust.

Couldn't get the video to load on my phone, but the look is definitely unique. Upload to YouTube and post a link so mobile users can hear!

Eh. Sounds tinny to me. As for the tail piece, looks unfinished, needs something in the middle, fake diffuser or something... sorry, not liking.

I really like the way that sounds much more high pitched. So is just the black widow mufflers needed to have that sound.

I think it sounds awesome. The back end might need something else to completely the look, but I dig the sound.
