Active Handling Fixed by dealer
I have a 1999 Corvette with the steering sensor out, or should I say had. I always got the Active Handling Warming Up warning followed by Service Active Handling and then Service Vehicle Soon warning. I dropped car off at dealer where I bought it and they replaced the steering sensor. Now no warnings of any kind, I can turn Active Handling on and off with the button. It is like having a new car. I cannot believe they were able to find the sensor and it worked.

Pretty sure its a readily available $70 part. Its not rare or hard to find. Glad you got it fixed.

I'm sure there are lots of early C5 owners looking forward to hearing where the sensor came from.

Please advise if this part is now available.. Have a read of my other thread(s)..I need a swps for my '99 and I cant legally drive the vehicle until I fix the issue.
If this dealer is able to source the part, you have no idea how much heart ache this could save me.
