Hazy Turning Signal Lights
So both of my front turning signal lights seem to be a bit hazy/cloudy. I feel it lowers my car's appearance. Any advice on how to clear them up, or should I just buy new oem replacements?

Meguiar's PlastX plastic cleaner/polish works very well for me. I think you will be surprised how good those lights will look after using this product. Good luck.

Try the product recommended above and should that not work, you could always just get new housings. OEM replacements are around $100 or so or aftermarket ones can be had for a little less. Install is not hard, just a little time consuming.

Here ya go. I installed these about a month ago. Light shade of tint and crystal clear. Couple these with a set of led switchback bulbs and they really enhance the look of the car plus a lot brighter turn signals and running lights. I swapped mine out for the same issue you have plus the oem bulbs generate so much heat eventually they melt the top of the housing causing cracks in the housings allowing water to get in which shorts the bulbs out. I had to replace the turn signal sockets as well because of this problem. The led bulbs do not generate this type of heat. Here are the links to the turn signal housings and switchback bulbs and a pic of them installed on my car.

If you dont want to buy new turn signals, I would just wet sand and then polish them and that will have them looking close to new again. Fix the housing if it is cracked because that allows water to get to get in.
You should consider switching to Leds as they will not generate heat and crack housings. I bought new turn signals with switchback leds and so far they have been perfect.
I paid around 45$ for these

Had the same problem. Found that both lenses had fine cracks in them that allowed moister to get in causing the clouding from the heat of the bulbs. The fix, replaced both lenses.

Stealth02- I like your lights, but they wouldn't fit in with my car's color scheme.
Garline14 - where did you get yours at? (p.s. hopefully you don't mind me possibly copying yours)

For a quick fix until you decide whether or not to buy new housings, use toothpaste. I've done this on my DD Jeep multiple times, and works like a charm. Spread some toothpaste over a damp scouring pad, and then put some elbow grease into the plastic. Wipe clean, spread a thin coat of wax over the lights to preserve them a bit, and voila. This is a temporary fix, and may be a bit silly on a Corvette, but it works.

I didn't care for the ones that are totally clear without any texture to lense, you can see the bulb, I like these better
than oem and the clear ones, oh and get the led bulbs for the reasons mentioned above.

Where did you get those from? And what type of led bulbs do you recommend?

Seriously.....about five minutes and any light compound...3M Grey light Compound works well...and you can make just about any plastic lense look crystal clear.
I dont even think about it any more, when my sons friends come over for gaming night, if I see oxidized headlights or tail lights on their old beaters I just grab the 3M and clear them up.

I like 'em, they are cheap and easy enough to change out yearly. I changed mine out and put in clear bulbs, look like driving lights. Probably not legal as amber in required to be legal. (If I get pulled over LEO would be kept busy with my dark tint, blacked out tail lights etc)

I've found the last couple times of cleaning that the clouding is actually inside the housing. I took and put a couple drops of dawn in the socket hole and rinsed. Dry with a lint free towell and was like new. Of course you still have to take out the housing. Good luck.

How hard is it to change the whole housing?

So before buying new DRL's, I took one of and cleaned up the inside and I'm impressed. (Thanks to 3tt3v8P for the info) They do seem to be hazy on the inside due to water seeping through, but it looks almost new. This will probably be my short term option for now, but still looking to buy new ones later on. Thanks for the advice guys. Appreciate it.
