Default Leather Visors installed

A big thank you to Adrian from Custom Vette Creations! I was so tired of the floppy eared cheap OEM visors with the zip ties and double-sided tape holding the mirrors on. The quality of these new visors is excellent and they look beautiful

Installation was a breeze thanks once again to the wonderful people on this forum sharing their knowledge
Next project is new leather seat covers. I'd love to get all black with yellow stitching. Suggestions?

Looks great. I also had my visors covered in leather the same time I updated my interior five years ago. Vette Essentials was the vendor I used for seats, trim and visors. Very high quality and real leather on all surfaces. Not cheap, but neither is my taste. They have photos on their website of black leather seats with yellow stitching and it looks great! Plus, I plan to keep my C5 as long as I'm above ground!

I don't believe they have a website yet.

My Red leather visors with mirror delete were shipped to me today.

You'll want to talk to the vendor, some of the pricing right now is special pricing (don't know how long it'll last), but I wanted the red leather he doesn't keep in stock.

Good looking sunvisors you installed. For your other interior needs, including the seat covers, I'd highly recommend contacting Vette Essentials.

If we were to pull our current visors and send them to you to be recovered and have the "floppy ear" corrected would this be an option or to you only offer ones that you have already wrapped in leather and stitched? Would carbon fiber look leather or vinyl be an option?

Typically All our Visors are made to order, at times we have some that are complete and in stock. But more often our visors are made to order due to the fact that we all have different plans for our Vettes. The typical scenario is this, a customer tells us what he or she wants, at which point they will either send theirs in their "floppies" or we will use our own cores and then after they get the new set in the mail they will return their old ones to us. We may be getting some CF leather in soon, all our visors are real leather but we can accommodate a request for a set made in vinyl if you prefer. Please know our visors are like corvette visors on steroids, we do not simply wrap the oem design in leather and call them custom, your new set will be Completley rebuilt using stronger material and back board, our mirrors are attached in such a manner they will never ever fall OFF again. we have never had a set returned, but in the very unlikely even it would happen it would be fixed free of charge. PM or text me your number and I can go into more detail. You can ask a few of my customers here on the forums and I'm sure they can vouch for the quality and immediately noticeable craftsmanship.

How much are the leather vs vinyl? If it's decent vinyl, I'm not sure I need the leather. Also, on the 'backing board' is there any way to use a poly sheet of some kind so you never have to worry about disintegration?

Funny you should ask we already have the vector plans and my father in law (patent atty) is helping us protect our backboard and construction design. Many of our Visors already have such a backboard in them, our Visors may outlive some of us.
PM me your phone number and we can discuss your color scheme and available options as Vinyl is not our standard material.
