Carbon Fiber Splitter/Skirts !!!!
I just picked up the new carbon fiber, or fiberglass, prototype splitter and sideskirt samples I designed. With the help of my good friend Mike and his business the units turned out really, really 'Bitch'n' and 'Bad Azz' !!. I'm really pleased with the mirror finish and thickness of the materials utilized during lay-up in the mold, not at all like some of those wafer thin carbon fiber units that require outside braces on each end, which also defeats the designed purpose of the splitter and skirts produced by other manufactures. Hoping to get these installed this weekend and share some pics with you guys soon !! I would also like your feedback and interest as to it's design and what would be 'Your' requirements !! More info coming soon after install and feedback !! With the rigidity built into these I might not have to install adjustable front splitter supports.

Parts look great but (someone's got to say it) you're seriously leaning them up against the paint????

LOL . I was seriously thinking about removing the BSM recently and doing a small makeover to change out the look after all these years and also change the wheel color to maybe a goldish bronze, jus time for a change in looks, tint the windows again.

I like the fact they look thin so that ground clearance won't be as bad for us living in the real world. Hope they work out you may have a market for them.

Looks great...can't wait to see them on the car. Can you and your buddy "reproduce" more of them should there be a reason or need to do that?

I'm glad to see some people taking the initiative to make their own stuff, usually they put far more effort and pride into it than vendors who mass produce stuff for cheap and could care less about the end result... I would also like to see some installed pics

From what I can see, they look good - would really like to see them mounted on the car. My requirement would be that they use existing screws to mount to the car even if a bracket that would be hidden has to be used. No drilling required would be nice.

Daryll has spent considerable time and effort to get these done - he's knowledgeable and really did his research going into this effort. I cannot wait to see these in person but, knowing Daryll, if he says they look good, they look great.
Btw, Daryll, I have some goodies to trade . . .

notice the predrilled holes at the corners of the splitter that appear to use the existing holes in the bumper where the side air dam attaches... I do agree that a metal reinforcement bracket would be a great idea and you could put it behind the bumper so it wouldn't be seen... maybe another bracket towards the middle to support the center and you're good to go... also notice the notches cut in the side skirts to clear the jacking pucks... it's obvious that some thought has been put into these pieces, good job
