This aFe PRO Dry S intake for your C5 Corvette produces 24 max horsepower and 29 lb-f. torque and out-flowed the factory intake by 13%. This air intake system also features a washable/reusable conical air filter and a heat-insulating molded plastic tube that replaces the stock intake tract and directs increased air flow with improved volumetric efficiency for maximum performance. The filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. This intake is 50-state legal for 1997-2004 models (CARB E.O Number D-550-3).

This CAI is NOT legal in CA for 2003-2004 Z06 models. I haven't seen any that are.

First of all, this is NOT a CAI. It's just a less restrictive air cleaner. A CAI will be ducted in some way to the outside air from the engine compartment, this filter is still taking in warm engine air. Secondly, the Callaway Honker comes with a 50-state C.A.R.B. sticker in the box and is a true CAI.

The Callaway Honker is not CARB legal in 02-04 Z06s either.

When I purchased mine direct from Callaway for my '03 Z06, it came with the sticker. Doesn't matter in NJ, just going by what I've got in hand.
