From everything I know this is a no-no, especially if you don't change your oil before storage. I check my tires a couple times, otherwise it just sits on the battery tender until I'm ready in the spring.

Back to the OP's issue with the exhaust cracking.

There is an X-pipe for sale on the forum. Might be a good chance to upgrade.

Depends. If my wife will be the one waking her up, then maybe.

But to the actual question: While neither is exactly catastrophic, it's better to change the oil before putting the car away vs after.

Default $53 Dollars Later!!

Took the car to Meineke this morning and they MIG welded the exhaust while it was on the car, out in under 30 minutes!

Great Suggestion to all who said go to good muffler shop, thank you!
