I find for me the P21S 100% carnuba works best. Easy to apply and remove with great shine. Doesn't leave white residue on the trim. I clay bar first using Pinnacle clay bar and lubricant. I havnt used the Zaino, Chadwicks or other products people swear by here but it seems like they require more work and or time.

You can use any good microfiber - but once you start breaking up the package the prices start to increase. The Chadwick tire dressing is great stuff. I suggest you use their rubber pad (similar to claying the car) for your first application. Once you have the base package you can buy future supplies in bulk (gallon bottle). Other than the first use, I use about 3 ounces each waxing - others use less.

I'm also a big fan of Chadwicks. My C5 hasn't been in a car wash, except once, since I found Chadwicks triple play.

So, it's very 'green' in a sense of saving water, and expense of car washs.

And I find Rejex to be great also. on wheels. A few years ago, I started putting 3 coats of Rejex on the front (nose) of my car, just before leaving for long trips. I can't explain it, but that makes cleaning the bugs off the front at the end of the day or first thing in the morning, very very easy to do.

My uncle gave me a container of Rejex. I started using it and wasn't getting a deep luster like I do with my McGuires. I switched back to McGuires and put on two coats. It looks great as usual. My question is: Can I put the Rejex over the McGuires finish to achieve the protection that Rejex offers?

P.S. Never thought of putting it on your wheels. I plan on doing that to my new wheels when they come in next week! Great idea!

To answer your question, yes all that is necessary. You'll know why once you get the kit.

I don't use wax, I use sealant. I've had good luck with both Adam's and Menzena sealants but there are many good brands out there. I was recently given some Chemical Guys sealant that I have yet to try but I expect good results. Pick trusted brands and you won't go wrong.

Also, in before giant argument about "the best" product out there.

Chadwick's and Zaino for me. Great results with both. My car is daily driven so now I use the Zaino AIO (All In One) and usually apply 2 coats every 3-4 months and use Chadwick's as well. Great Results

Yes i have - no issues. Make sure you keep it wet when using and no reason to push hard. Not much different than clay bar.

hands down, zaino.
You'll hear a lot of complaints about zaino-- it's too complex to use, it's too expensive, their shipping sucks, but you'll never hear anyone say it's a bad polish. imho, it's the best.

If you watch Neil's video and/or read his instructions, you'll see that you use the buffer block once you've gone over the car with his Triple Play. After that, you only need to use the block a couple times a year, depending on how dirty your car gets. In between, all you need is the TP on a daily/weekly basis. Consider the block as a "permanent" clay bar, as it doesn't need replacing like a clay bar does, eventually. Once you've used the block, your paint will be buttery smooth.

REJEX. Love the durability and the shine. Kid at the car wash asked; "How is it your car always looks like a sheet of glass?" Wife's 300c of course. The vette doesn't go through automatics washes.
