Default Planning on pulling the trigger on new wheels this weekend. HELP!

I hijacked a photo from the thread that "50 ANV C5" started a couple days ago because our cars are essentially identical and it saved me from taking a photo :-).

I'm planning on ordering a set of wheels this weekend and I'm leaning more in favor of the C6 Spyders, but the C7 Z06 wheels look good too. Which do you like better?

I like the ones you photoshopped in the other thread better than either of those.

I like the stock wheels but if you must change i'd go with the C6 Z06.

I would go with the C7 Z06 wheels. Just be aware that the barrels of the wheels are just machined and I am not positive they have a clear coating on them to help with keeping them look good.

I'm digging the Spyder wheels.

I do like them, but there is the issue of no clearcoat on the barrels, and the other concern has been brought to my attention by two close friends in my Corvette Club that own the z's with those Factory wheels; they are a pain in the butt to clean compared to the Spyders. Lots of facets on those wheels, and I'm currently driving mine every day.

I'm with a few of the others; the other thread wheels. No champagne, no chrome.

I got it, however, the other wheels are not an option.

Out of those choices, I'd go with the C6 Z06 Spyders. I've always liked those wheels and considered them on my C5. I'm not crazy about the C7 Z06 wheels.

If you really don't know what wheels you love, wait until you figure it out. To get new wheels just for the sake of getting new wheels is kind of a waste. Better to put the money in the kid's college fund.

You have a beautiful AE.
Stick with the factory rims, they look better than those 2 choices imho.

These are aftermarket wheels. Chrome C6 Z-06 in C5 Z-06 sizes. Give you an idea what they look like.

I really like both of the wheel styles I show in the photos above. I have always loved my friend Jim's Spyders on his old '09 Z06. He now has a '16 Z06 with the other style, yup and I love them too. Not much of anything else does it for me. I'm old school, so I like chrome. I know a lot of people say to leave the factory wheels, but to me they are kind of flat and not very dynamic. The Spyder wheels and the later Z06 wheels in chrome really make the cars pop.

When I was younger I worked in my uncles body shop for a couple summers. He used to tell me that wheels and tires count for almost half the profile of the car and they need to really make a statement for the car to really stand out.

Anyway, it's always interesting to see what is appealing to my contemporaries!

Thanks for your input

Uh, whuh?
Your options were champagne, chrome, chrome, or none of the above. I said the latter.
