That's good to know. I'm around page 100 and am getting bored with all of their setbacks. I'm not really a reading type, but suppose I will keep on reading.

The best part is the testing at the end, feel sorry for those that had no time to read it.

Guys
Were is the book now? I have my own personal copy but I wanted to make this offer.

I will see Dave Hill on October 1st and I could get him to sign the copy that is floating around the Forum. So whomever has the book, PM if you could get it to me before Oct. 1st and then I will send it out to the next person.

Map updated, should be at SSTG by now. Sorry for the delay, had no electricity for 3 days and had to clean up the mess from Hurricane Hermine which passed overhead last week.

Finally finished this book and glad I stuck it out. I am not a book reading type of person, so I'm actually surprised that I finished this one. Once I got past page 100, the book became a lot more interesting all the way to the end.

I will be sending it to "Zipity" this week to get Autographed. I've only made it to Chp 10. I will have to order the book to finish!

Hey Guys
Sorry for the delay in responding, I have been trying to get through the book, so I haven't finished it yet but I did buy my own copy, so I can Pay It Forward on the Forum copy.

Who wants the book next?

It was recently autographed by Dave Hill at a Toys For Tots event hosted by Kerbeck Corvettes in Atlantic City. Here is a photo of Dave signing the book and a shot of Dave next to 1 of 5 of the Aztec Gold C5's.

Dave was thrilled to hear the story of how the Forum members were sending the book across the Country for all to enjoy. He is a great ambassador for the Corvette Community.

Very interesting to see just how the book has traveled around the country.

It is a very interesting read on so many different levels. I had no idea GM was in such trouble during the 90's. To me it appears Dave Hill was the driving force that really saved Corvette glad to see he is still around enjoying the results of his labor. Mike

OK, here's the latest pic in the book's travels, to NJ this time.
Zipity - can you scan and post up here what he wrote in the book so we all can see it?

C5 - C6 - C7 Owner.... The C5 to me is the best bang for buck and true to what Corvette should be..... Super Sports Car for the masses.

The C6 and C7 are awesome .... but, cost more than the average guy really should spend.
I only paid a small percentage of what a C7 should cost. Couldn't imagine driving around a car that cost me a $100K. It is a work of art. The C5 in it's simplicity is beyond belief in many ways.

Oh and I am in Kali ..... I travel around Kali .... Ocean, Delta and Sierras... I am in Pine Grove, CA now (Sierra Foothills)

I love my C5 - Shot taken on 17 Mile Drive Carmel, Ca.

Still awaiting my turn to sign the book. I have added two C4's to my collection. Corvettes are all beautiful...

Nobody's posted on this thread since November. Where is the book now? I would like to update the map.
And there's 2 other threads on this forum about the same thing with almost the same title. It would be nice if they were all together combined into one.
