Dash cluster won't work
I have a question. I have a 99 corvette and none of the gauges work in dash cluster except the voltage gauge. They all was working the last time I drove it a week or so ago. Would anybody have any idea what's wrong with it?

Most likely a failure of the 'multi function switch', which is your turn signal/lights etc switch on the left of the steering wheel. It has many electrical contacts in it to perform a lot of different functions for the different lighting/dashboard. This is a relatively common occurrence with C-5s. I'd contact one of the guys that recycles broken/wrecked C-5s. Vettenuts )a forum vendor), or John Llewellyn 865-604-0498 one of them will have what you need. It is a simple task to replace.

OK, that means the gauges are good.
The Voltmeter gauge uses actual voltage and it works.
ALL the other gauges are fed by the Serial Bus.
Can you use the DIC buttons to call up information that would be from the serial bus like oil pressure, etc?

Ok i found the dic buttons. There's a catch. The only thing I'm using on the cluster is the speedometer, all the others I have aftermarket gauges for them. Thanks

Read your owners manual. It will tell you how you how to display information on the DIC screen.
Do these gauges use the serial bus to work? Did you install them?

check the wire harness that runs through the rubber accordion tube between the chasis and the door.
There's a bare wire with a clear tube over it, if it shorts to ground it can be causing your problem. Wrap the exposed wire with electrical tape or some other insulation and you'll be good to go

I think you are confusing the Bose connector (Blue) and wiring that have nothing to do with the other door connector (Black) and their functions. The wire you referred to is the Drain wire for the audio signal and is not a ground.
OP, when you say "windows" can you operate the right one from the right door switch?
Check IPC fuse 19 in the I/P fuse box, it could be why the speedometer is not working.
How are the other gauges fused?
Still need to know if you can pull up serial bus information on the DIC screen. Pulling up any DTC codes would be adequate.
