I went from a C3 to a C5, too. I felt the same way. The C3 was so primitive compared to the sophisticated modern C5.

Wow! good for you, its nice to see somone enjoy their new car. I sometimes forget driving mine for the first time, it was a nice surprise. Pay no attention to the cf police they mean no harm, its all for fun! so every post does not need to be an essay with perfect grammer, composition and illustration. I got your point just fine.

Congrats on getting your C5. What year did you buy and what options are on the car?

I got it over the internet at Dallas Direct...They shipped it from Texas to here in Northern Arizona...WhenI got home from work at 6 am they had it sitting in my garage.. 1999 White Coupe with Oak interior , Blue glass top , automatic..( now that I have the auto I'm sure the 6 speed is trouble waiting to happen) CD Stereo of course..51,100 miles...real clean interior and exterior . Already had the aftermarket Cold Air Intake and new tires.. I had the salesman take pictures every day from every angle .. I was extremely lucky in getting what I did for what I did and not getting burned in the process... to say I sweated bullets for a while is an understatement. I think the car being a vette also gives you some insight to the care it probably had.. I will post pics the first day I'm not busy driving .. snicker!

Yup! The C5's are a leap!

And so much you can do to them and the LS1 responds so well to bolt ons!

Thanks,Matt
