Default Removing 3M tape

Has anyone found anything besides fingers and Goo Gone to remove 3M tape?

If it's the backing, I always use duct tape to take off as much as I can of any adhesive, works great just stick it to itself around your hand and roll on and off, sometimes with a tapping motion....lifts it right off! change tape often. Then use a solvent if you have to but if it is still sticky this will work well for most of it.

I've also used WD-40 to help get some 3M tape off the car.

Denatured alcohol is worth a try.

Heat gun to warm it up before peeling helps a lot...

Thanks guys for all the replies. I found some 3M general purpose remover that I forgot I had and it worked like a charm, project done.

Warm bacon grease........ Neighborhood pups clean up any remaining residue.
