So what is it?
Listed as 434" displacement.

Bore is listed as 4.200" and stroke as 4.00" = 443.3 cubic inch

That's like.....2100 HP! Awesome!
My 98 has 905 HP (767rwhp) and it's insanely fast. Getting traction is nearly impossible. I can't imagine driving your C5 with over twice the power I have

I'm sure the guys at RPM will get us exactly what we need. I know we HAVE to go to the C6Z style rear, so I don't see an issue running their 9" IRS set up with the Glide.

This car is still running a 4.00" stroke, but we are running a Wiseco 4.155" Piston. Typo on my part lol

Nice catch though. Didnt even notice that. The 443LSX is what is going in our C6Z set up for TX2K haha.

So who actually built the engine for this car? Who did the machine work? Wouldn't the 68/70 Gen 2 been a better turbo option for this build?

Looks to me like some free advertising for a shop that doesn't sponsor this forum to me...

There is zero advertising going on here? Nor any kind of contact info for myself or whom I work for.

As stated this is a General thread to document the build of the car.

To answer your questions, the engine was built by Legendary Performance, Machine work was done by Texxon Motors, and the reason the 7675 turbos were used was the fact that the owner already had them that he planned on using for different set ups. He decided just to go ahead and put them in this one instead.

Man you need to ditch that factory plastic power steering pulley.... It's going to explode! Check out turnone or use a factory ls2. Cool build though

I hope you have better luck than I did with the NW TB and RHS heads. Ive blown three head gaskets from the RHS heads twisting under boost.

I had to go to a cable TB because my NW would slam shut and get me stranded.

Awesome build!

Hey guys, sorry it's been a while but have an update on the Turbo System. Hadn't had much time to get to it yet but it is now the main focus to get knocked out. Plan on having everything finished for the system and cooling system by the end of the day tomorrow! Then finishing up the small little pieces remaining so we can get it ready to tune.

As you can see in the pics we will for sure be modifying the hood hahaha. Both for the intake elbow and the turbos.

Slowly but surely! lol

interesting.. how are you going to keep heat out? This reminds me of the PDK system with the top mount turbos. Car made insane power, but they couldnt keep heat reasonable from the turbos.

We are going to do everything we can to manage heat. All piping is going to be coated and heat treated. Manifolds are to be wrapped as well. The license plate area will also be cut out with a tunnel ram designed to help get as much cool air in as possible. The HX and A2W set ups should really help out in keeping things cooled down in the system. The hood has a nice design on extracting as much heat as possible as well from the engine bay.
