Default Purple convertible

I don't often visit e-bay anymore but I stumbled across this 98 for a $9900.00 buy it now and thought someone here might be intrigued.

It's a rare color too - Medium Purple Pearl Metallic and only 381 made that year.

If that was a 6 speed car then we would be trading in the old lady's Corolla.

If I could sell my C3, it would be in my garage.

That medium purple pearl metallic looks so good on the C5 in my opinion. During my car search, I did not come across even one in that color for sale.

Only a 1998 color, and very rare.
The color chip in the dealers manuals made it appear to be a terrible looking color.
I thought so too when I was looking thru the Dealers manual in 1998.
Then when I saw one in person I thought it was a GREAT color !
Too bad it was not put out there more. I'll bet it could have been more popular.

Would love it if mine was that color!!! Purple has always been my favorite color (even during those times when it wasn't cool) and I have used pearl on a number of projects...love it!!

Would still like to have a "Plum Crazy" '69 Hemi 'Cuda!!!!!

Have admired and been envious of Mstromquist's car for a long time!!

I'm with you. Back in the day pre-8 character minimum 1 uppercase letter 1 lowercase letter, one number and one special character, change every 3 weeks blah blah blah... all my passwords were "purple"

My dad was the same way, when the new challenger came out he planned to buy a purple 6 speed RT, but when his father (who only owned red dodges for the greater part of 5 decades) passed away last year my dad decided to get a red challenger instead.

The car that got me into cars was a purple cougar.

Thanks. You're making me blush. Plum Crazy '69 Cuda would be much cooler. A buddy of mine is getting a new Challenger in that color. Can't wait to see it. If that Vert were closer to me I could need to go have a look.
