I really want the Kenwood from Double DD, but I need someone to install it. I live in the Lexington KY area if anyone has any info on someone to do the installation. Really like to know who it is.

Have you thought about looking on ebay or talking to Dennis about buying a used one and sell yours on ebay when you get your double din back.

I'm actually selling my old stock radio bezel, if you want it, you can use that as a temporary for the month or two while Dennis is making you one. It can definitely hold you down for the mean time. PM me if interested! I am selling it for $85 shipped.

What I did was remove my Bezel and sent it to Dennis. In the meantime, I fabricated a piece of cardboard that fit where the Bezel had been. Once cut and fitted, I sprayed the cardboard with some satin black paint. After one day, I was use to it. From the outside of the car you could not see any difference. I drove the car that way for 6 weeks, and never felt as though my car was in pieces, or hacked.

I would strongly suggest not going with a din and a half, or a din with a flip up screen. the flip ups, block the center AC vents, and looks Hacked to me... there is only one right way to add a big screen navigation system with blue tooth, and that's with a double din.

Just a heads up on the use of cardboard... most fabricators use cardboard to make original design templates. You can make them fit perfectly .

Hope this helps
Bill aka ET

why not have Christian send his to Dennis, instead of you... You can pay Christian and just keep your bezel in your car until Dennis completes the one Christian sends him...Then Dennis can ship it to you... you can pay Christian and Dennis, and once your new Bezel comes, you can sell your old one on Ebay. All this will save a little time in you getting your new double din faster.

Just a thought. I think Dennis would buy your old bezel from you as well once you install the new one.

I can't believe there's not a decent auto audio shop in Dallas that could have you fixed up in a couple of days. I live in a city of 50,000 and we have several that can do the job. Don't go to a big box store, or have to buy a temporary radio. That's crazy.
