New Introduction
I just bought my first Vette. 2004 convertible, machine silver, with 31,000 miles. Has what I was told was a FLp exhaust. Seller said this was an add on. Someone else said this is standard from the factory. Any thoughts on what it is? Should I spring for a cold air intake? It has all the power already that I need but then, more is always better, right?
Beautiful car. I love it.

Welcome Dog!!
FLP is an add on. One small bit of advice. Drive it and put together a plan of what you want to do before you start buying parts.
Enjoy and post some pics!!

Congrats on getting your C5. Are you sure the guy said FLP and not SLP exhaust? And I agree that maybe give it a few months before you decide whether to mod it more or not - you just might like it how it is now.

Welcome from another Rocky Top fan! Take that advice above since there are so many options available for these cars, much like the Harley aftermarket.

Thanks for the nice welcome folks. Probably won't do much in the upgrades. Maybe a cold air induction system but time will tell. This sucker has so much power than I am use to that performance mods seem crazy for now.
