Default My exhaust

When I bought my 02 this past August, it already had an aftermarket exhaust on it. I got it from a dealer and did not have access to the original owner. I'd love to know what kind of exhaust is on it. It sounds great and has no drone. The car only had 11,000 miles on it from one owner that traded it in on a new c7, so I'm assuming with that info and the low mileage, he must have been a collector or enthusiast of some sort and would have bought something of good quality for it. Does anyone recognize it? Thanks!

The muffler assemblies look like my GHL Bullets. Though mine have angled tips, perhaps just an earlier version though.

That's what I was thinking they might be. That's the closest thing I've found in pictures so far. Whatever they are, they sound great!

There are so many aftermarket exhausts out there that it would just be a guess. Looks like a quality exhaust though.

looks like you have a nice set of ghl's... great exhaust, that's the only other one I considered when shopping for an exhaust but I ended up choosing corsa xtremes

I was really thinking GHL too, but I couldn't find any pics with the straight tips like that, so I wasn't sure. It's definitely a quality system and the whole thing is beautifully polished. It's not super loud until you get on it, but is definitely louder than stock at idle and has a nice low rumble.

They look like GHL Bullets. I have a set as well. Best exhaust I have found to date.

GHL Bullets used to come with the "Bulls Eye" Tips.
My friend had a set of GHL's with BullsEye tips on his 2001 Z06 years ago.

Here is what a new set looks like. I tried various searches and can't find a pic of the BullsEye tips. Your pics are a little blurry but they must be the Bulls Eye tips because they are not the new style tips. I would not sell those. You got a rare set !

Exactly why I got my GHL's.
Loud but not too loud.
Just barely hear the exhaust while cruising (no issues talking with passengers)
Wakes up the neighborhood when getting on it... haha
No Drone
Nice deep rumble.

Wait till you add a cam...

Funny, because I recently sold those pictured here and got a set of Corsa Xtremes to replace them. GHL's were great but I was looking some something different after a while and the Corsas seemed like the next logical step.

I'm pretty sure you are all correct from everything I can find. The tips are my only question since they are single wall but straight cut and rolled. Looks to me like the bullseye tips were double wall. I'm assuming you are right, maybe they're rare, but they will be staying on the car for add long as I have it! Love that sound!

I did a quick search and nothing came up.

Thanks,

Unfortunately GHL is no longer in business. I was fortunate enough to pick up my set from a forum member at a great price.

I think your right. The bullseye tips were double wall but open at the rear of the tips. These tips are still a little different. Does it look like someone may have put different tips on them ? Any obvious weld marks ?

No, they definitely look like they are original to the exhaust. I would be completely amazed if they weren't.
