How many C5 Veterans with 15 years here.
Just curious as to how many members own a C5 and have 15 years here in the Corvette forum? I see some old time lurkers here, but those once active here are now taking a quiet back seat to the new breed. A roll call of those still alive, if you are dead, don't bother posting.
Be nice to see who is still hanging around in the shadows.. I go through my friends list over the last 15 years and wonder if any of these people are still here.

I just want to say that , this is what a Corvette has always been about, friendship, passion, and a real desire to be a part of the greatest automotive community in the world.
The Corvette forum has been a vehicle, to extend this friendship and camaraderie. Every once in a while, we get a few distractors and even haters who come here to try to disrupt and disrespect the whole Idea of what the Corvette community represents. Everyone comes here for different reasons. Some come to learn, some come to teach, but in the end, everyone comes here to help, when they can. Ive seen some come here with little to no knowledge, only to see them here after 14 or 15 years, giving back all that have learned here, in a spirit of friendship and community commitment.
It makes me smile when I see and remember some newbie who came here a long time ago, who chose to bookmark, some of my help, word for word and to come here many years later to offer that help to a brand new member. A lot of information has been passed on to others here and that information remains here for all to share. We have to thank the Corvette forum and the vendors for keeping this forum a place to share our passion. Thanks to those who have participated in this thread.
When I started it, I thought it would be just a roll call of old timers, but it has become a lot more for me...Another opportunity to stroll down memory lane.. remembering the good old days, and see some friends who's names and Avatars, inspire thoughts of times past, when we were a half step faster, a bit healthier, had a little more Hair, a little less grey, but one thing that is better, is the friendships that we have embraced by coming together here in one place. Thanks to all

Enjy that link... Nature at its best, these eagles built that nest three years ago... took them two years to build it,, which is typical.. I watched then give birtht to two eaglets last year.
This link I have you is from a Nest in Hanover Pa. just west of me. this pair of Eagles, called Liberty and Freedom have in the last week delivered two eggs.. they will hatch in four weeks and will fledge in late June or early July... its is amazing to watch these 5 oz. eggs turn into 15 lb juveniles in a few months... this is a live action link in real time.. it used a solar powered HD camera, and also a second IR camera so you can watch them 24 /7... there is much activity at the nest over the next few months... I hope you and other nature lovers enjoy that link...incidentally the nest and eagles look small because of the fish eye lenses, but that nest is 8 feet in diameter and those two eagles have a wing span of 8 feet. if you note the photograph I posted.. that is the size of that nest in the live action cam. that nest takes two years to build, and is reusable by the same pair.

Last year I watched the nest on the live feed, just amazing the amount of work and upkeep the pair had to do. I loved watching the change of guard on the nest. Thanks for posting the feed, I saw the eggs were laid last week.
