I bought mine last year and it took one afternoon to do the job. I replaced the foam on the drivers side and put tubing over the wings on the bolsters so they won't come through the new foam. They are great and more than reasonable in price. I went with the all leather version but there are other choices that may save $$$$$

Lots of good comments about the interior from Interior Innovations. Modest price and good quality.

Interior Innovations.

Mine were synthetic with genuine perforated leather inserts. Very cost effective over real leather.

All very good looking seats. I used MAmotorworks finish line collection and they have held up great for 7yrs with no problem.

Witmer, I just looked at your link. You did a great job! Was the new foam worth it?

One year, 4,000 miles and a few track/strip days later and I'm still happy. If you keep up with a good leather conditioner, the leather should stay soft for a long time.

I was on the fence about whether or not to get new foam or just use the seat repair kit. At Carlisle, I went to a C5 seat cover replacement demo from Corvette America. The before and after was amazing - not only the new cover but the overall shape and fit. That sold me on needing to get new foam. I also learned that even if not worn, the foam breaks down over time. The old foam from my '97 would flake off into a powder when I rubbed the bare foam with my hands. It was time to replace. Replacing the foam adds more cost, but why spend the money on new skins to have them not fit snugly?

I bought Mid-America foam but ordered through http://www.vetteworksintl.com. Vette Works discounts the catalogs of a bunch of the major vendors.

I've found that too. If the foam turns to powder, nothing's going to save it.
