Default Thinking of pulling the trigger

On a VR-B2 Vararam air intake no power duct. Is it worth $300 will I notice the gains from it? my car is completely stock with just a Corsa exhaust. But with this mod what should I expect from it, as far from gains and sound. Can pretty much any body shop install this for me or should I go somewhere else. Anyway thanks

A competent mechanic should be able to install the Vararam (as should a good body shop), but if you have basic mechanical skills you should be able to do the install yourself. The Vararam is not known for a great fitment but with patience it will go together.

As far as HP gains, yes, you should see an increase. How much is hard to say but the Vararam is generally considered to provide a good performance return.

From all I've read here over the years, it is the only true CAI.

Performance gains - I'll leave that for others.

Installation. Again from what I've read here one of the biggest PITA items to install. But, once installed no one complains so that has to be good!

I would say, find someone here or a shop that has done it before!

Good Luck!
