Recommended Meguiars Ultimate Polish
I was pretty impressed with the product. I did two passes by hand with a foam applicator in these photos. There is a pretty big difference. Remember when using this product to wipe it off before it begins to dry and follow up with the wax of your choice. In these pics only Meguiar's Quick Wax Spray was used after the ultimate polish. Photos show the reflection in several sources of light. Really good product and not just good for dark cars. It really brings out the depth in the color. Cheers

Love there stuff also. But Don't buy the tire shine in the spray can. You will be sorry. It give your tire a nice shine for about a day then tire goes dull again. Then you have this thick cap on the side of your tire. Armour all tire shine is the best.

Meguair's products are now owned by 3M. Any type of wax/cleaner/rubbing compound with the 3M name on it is the same as Meguair's products but in different packaging. My dad works for 3M where the stuff is now made.

Does it use a filler for fine swirl marks? The back of my car has that horrid black thing (2014 Mustang GT) and I've noticed some swirl marks recently. I'd like to fill those in without taking clear coat off.

They bought them back in 2008. But, did they start doing manufacturing for them recently? Because as of 2013, the only 3M departments that merged with Meguiar's were accounting/finance and legal. Otherwise, Meguiar’s was run independently. Barry even secured a deal to keep most of the R&D stuff proprietary.

I've used Meg's products to detail the vette as well as other vehicles. I have used the ultimate compound and polish with a DA. Always happy with the results. I have also used Blackfire products with good results as well.
I have recently purchased the Zaino products and will be detailing the vette with it soon. I am interested to see the results vs. Meg's and blackfire.
