I am shooting for the 11s as well. I've only made 3 passes on the drag strip ever so I'm still working on my launch and 60' times but even with a terrible 60' time (2.7) I still trapped at over 118mph last week. The car has it I just need to get it off the line hard. I'm usually a hpde/auto X guy so the strip is still pretty new to me

The launch is where it all happens. I was running Nitto 555 drag radials and using a Fastbird line loc - and on a rental day so I had lots of tries. 1.9 60 was the best - was happy with a 12.6 at the time.

Night and day now with the cam and heads, but my street tires are useless.

Good luck!

I can def see some drag radials in my future. I'm using Bridgestone RE71r tires now and they offer a lot more grip then my nitto invos but still spin pretty hard in 1st and 2nd. I'll post up some 1/4 results later.

Crappy results again at the strip between bogging down off the line or completely knocking the back tires off at the start. If i launch around 3K the tires go up in smoke, if I launch at 2700 she seems to fall on her face. running 2.5-3.0 sec. 60' times and around 12.6-12.7 e/ts at 118+. The car has 11s in it all day I just need a Drag radial on the back and some more passes under my belt to get it off the line.

Soon, my first appointment got cancelled by my tuner and then the 2nd appointment the weekend before I snapped the Differential output shafts at the drag strip. just got it back together yesterday. I have another appt set-up for the July 15th if I can keep the car together until then lol

My appointment is confirmed for this friday 7/15 at New Era Performance in Rochester NY.

Here is my old numbers prior to heads/Cam. This was with LS6 intake, slp air intake, long tubes and borla stingers. I just swapped out my Stingers for Z06 Ti mufflers it shouldn't cost me to much power friday we will see.

Well my birthday is 7/15, so if your dyno day goes anything like every previous birthday I've had, it will definitely be a let down.

Based on choice of dyno day: 224rwhp 160rwtq

Damn, must have been a rough birthday, its suppose to 90 some degrees and humid so 224rwhp might not be out of the question lol

Default TSP Torquer V4 and PRC LS6 heads Dyno Number guess?

Some what local to me, and I'll guess 460 rwhp with around 400 rwtq. Those are corrected numbers too, as the weather will be warm.

Results are in, I'm a little disappointed but the tune is spot on much improved drivability and lower rpm manners.

You've been driving around AND drag racing an untuned car for 3 months? :crazy2

From a numbers only stand point, that doesn't seem right at all...

The numbers do seem low but the car really does seem to pull harder now from a stop across the entire power band now. I've driven some other cars with over 450rwhp and I wouldn't hesitate to put my vette up against it, does feel like it punches well above its dyno numbers. Not sure the next time I will go to the strip again as I've been running regional solo autoX in the cam-s class with great success and will probably continue to focus on that for the rest of the season.
