Drivers side window won't go up on '01 convertible.

Update. The drivers window did not go up again. I banged on bottom of door and it came up. I noticed it only happened when it was all the way down and was there for a period of time. It was like it got stuck there. After that I would not leave it in the total down position. I would bring it up a half inch. I have not had a problem since I started doing that.

I think you'll find the contacts in the motor are sticking. Once it starts, it seems the less you use the window motor, the more often it will happen.

It seems to work fine if I don't let it stay on the bottom for any period of time. Hasn't happened since I started raising it a half inch or so. Two and a half months now.
