Radials or slicks?
About to do a cam kit with a full exhaust on my stock c5. Going to be doing some racing with it on the weekends...What do you recommend likes/ dislikes pro/cons of drag slicks or radials? Needing some opinions before I go purchasing

Not sure you will be at hp levels that require slicks. If you are manual trans, do yourself a favor and go with drag radials unless you want to start replacing driveline parts.

Not enough information,
wheels, race class, dyno numbers, street and strip, or strip only.
What is your definition of a " full exhaust "
suspension upgrades or stock.
hardened shafts or stock

Slicks will give traction, but generally at the expense of breaking driveline parts like axles, diff, trans, etc.
I know a lot of people use Corvettes like this, but in reality Corvettes aren't that well suited for this type of use. It can be made to handle this type of use.
How much power are we talking about? What kind of 1/4 mile times are you trying to achieve?

We run a Hoosier 295/50/16 drag radial and love it. This is the 3rd street/strip car I've used them on and have always had great luck. We don't make much HP (yet) but can 60' 1.5x in a car wash. We also drive them on the street with no issues and unless you get caught in a rain storm they work very well.
