Default Is you back window still holding up verts

The back window on my 2004 let go a few months ago. Since winter was on its way I put on the hard top but now it's warming up again and it's time to fix it. I read the thread that started around 2008 where the OP used Rhino glue to fix his. In that thread there are a few other methods used I think the last post was a little over a year ago. So my question to those who have made the repair gluing or taping in you back window, Who's is still holding in place, for how long and what did you use. A local auto body supply store said Window Weld is the best product for this application but I don't think he has actually had this problem.

So far mine (1999) is still holding, knock on wood. That being said, mine rarely gets driven with the top up.

So far, so good on my '99 vert, but I'm interested in responses to your query. At some point that info could very well become useful. Have a good one!

2000 Vert here, original owner, 41K, garage queen. Ive had to do the rear window fix twice already and it looks like I'm gonna have to to it again this year.

Each repair is lasting me about 4 years. And I'm using Rhino Glue. Will use it again too.

No issues with the window on my '04 unless the previous owner fixed it. On average it's sitting outside from April to the end of November. Have some other projects to finish up before it comes out of storage this year though.

I have seen this before, do you have a source for this or did you buy someone else's project?. I love that it looks exactly like a FRC.

Sorry for the hijack op

I purchased it around ten years ago from someone on this forum. I have since seen a few people add the targa top hardware so they have the beat of all worlds.
