My go to wax was always Meguiar's gold glass or nxt 2.0 paste, it was good stuff. The car needs a good buff for some scratches, but I decided to do a quick clean for spring and do a buff later this summer, but this is clay, Collinites insulator wax(best stuff I personally have ever used), finished with Chadwicks(first time user and now believer!) Pictures do not do the shine justice!

So rewarding to see that shine after busting your but to clean it!

Hello from the painted side!

Neil Chadwick's theory is wax when in the sun melts then any dirt in the air becomes trapped in the wax and as you wax it over and over the wax/dirt buildup dulls the shine ???? Chadwick's stripes the junk off the paint allowing the Base Coat Clear Coat to shine as it was designed ???? All I know it's easy and the best I have used ???? The OP's car does look great as well as many Zanio cars here !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have heard this from people who live in really high temp states that the wax burns off/melts, but also if you google collinite many say the 476 and 845 will hold up to the high heat and not melt/burn off(ie Arizona)...been using the 845 for a few years now and just love it to death, and the chadwicks work great as a final detailer, way better than any quick wax or instant detailer, and it smells GREAT!

I do not use his block to rub the paint, I use clay...I use just the spray, as a quick detailer to remove any streaks left wax I missed, a light spritz of the spray with a microfiber does not strip the wax. I do not "chadwick" the car as in using the system as designed.

I think what AK is saying is that just the solution strips the wax. I think the Chadwicks is great. But I clean my car at least once a week. I only got about 6-8 uses out of two 32 oz bottles of chadwicks. I think it would be fine for a garaged car, but I can't afford that for my outdoor one.

Thanks guys! I take a lot of pride in whatever I drive. I always try to maintain a clean car. Even my company truck. For me personally especially a Corvette should always be clean. Like a Cadillac also should always be clean.

Someone asked which buffer I used. I have the Meguiar's one actually. I received it as a gift in a full blown kit about 8 years ago. I know there are several different ones out there. Porter Cable makes a good one. I'm sure the one I have is made by someone else with their label on it.

I have wanted to try other products named in the posts but just haven't yet. I have used the Gold Class and the NXT 2.0 but for some reason on the Yellow it doesn't seem to hold up as well. I do use the NXT 2.0 on my personal truck a Red Candy Metallic F-150 and it really makes the paint look deep.

I was not going to argue with him and I drive on dirt for a ways and the car can get real dusty and I will spray it off with water from time to time. But I will not wax it !!!!! I had the tire stuff on my wheel wells (engine compartment) and sprayed my washer tank and coolant tank with Chadwick's and the over-spray went onto the WW and left spots where the Chadwick's was stripping the tire stuff just from the over-spray ????
