Default What's a cammed FRC worth?

What would this usually sell for?

99 FRC black on black 114k miles clean title

All mods have low miles, basic run down.

Fresh ls6 top end
TSP cam and all supporting mods
Lg long tubes full exhaust
Ls7 clutch
Vararam intake
Dyno tuned
C6 zo6 shocks, sway bars
C6 seats
HRE wheels...

There's a lot more details just trying to give a basic idea of it and see what it would sell for... Runs and drives great. Well taken care of, paint isn't perfect but what do you expect from black.

Anyways whatcha guys think ??

$15k seems awfully generous to me. I'm think $12k-$13k tops.

Everyone will want to offer you 10-12k. Seems like the average new C5 buyer is a cheap ***. Looks like a nice car, if you have a price in mind, hold out for it

Maybe $13-14K for the right buyer. Unfortunately, although you have some nice mods, they don't really add much value to the car. Hope you have all the receipts for the work that was done to the car - I know I would want to see it.

In GA that would be a $11-$13k. I bought my 99 FRC with 68xxx miles and a ton of stuff down to it for $15k.

Sweet Car Man!!!
I have a Black 01 and love it, but if I had to do it over again I wouldn't get a Black one.
When a Black one is spit shined and polished there's nothing that looks better, but it's a bitch to keep clean.
FRCs' are the shizzle (imo) I say 14'9 but again that's just my opinion

Thanks for all the input everyone!!! Looks as if I'm too deep into to even consider a sale. That's usually how it goes when building a car tho lol

I paid $15k for '00 FRC "bone stock" with about 65k miles on it. I think you would help your resale value if you get those stock "LS1" plastic valve cover gizmo's back on - in general I think keeping the car "stock appearing" helps the value - I've been keeping that in mind when modding mine....

Mine was on the market for nearly a year before I sold , a 2000 FRC with 80 000 miles, black on black as well

I will tell you honestly to sell the HRE wheels separately and find a clean , cheap stock set to throw on there, that way you can pocket a little bit of money, because you wont see more then $10k-$11k for that car in the current market

Its not that theres anything wrong with your car, its just the way the market is right now, at least that's the way I see it

You have a nice 11k car, with 4k wheels. Put the car on blocks when you sell your wheels, and find a cheap set to replace, and sell for 11k.

Putting cammed before FRC won't add to the cars face value...

But then again...a car is only worth what the next person is willing to pay...

I wouldnt call new C5 owners "cheap ***" I'd call them a working class who can afford a 10-15k car....

The C5 is typically someone's second car, not their primary transportation so someone who can only afford a 10-15k car as their transportation probably won't have one.

I always find it amusing how everyone posts this is the best car in the world and a "forever car" then when a pricing thread comes up they act like it's basically worthless. I guess C5 owners, on average, are just an odd duck

I can't for the life of me see how c4's are selling right now. I wanted one badly, but after seeing prices on decent ones, why would I not just buy a c5 for a grand more and have a car that's considerably better in every way.

I say stick to your guns and take no less than 13k if you don't need to sell

10.5K is low side, 14K high side.
So somewhere in the middle is what you can expect.

Makes me wonder what the good ol c5 will be worth once it's a classic.

Slightly more than a C4, but it'll be a bargain.

Where are all these 11-12k cars when I'm looking. The only C5 currently for sale in my town is a nice 04 coupe that is offered at $23,900.
