The thing that annoys me most about the C5

?
Really?
I guess it just depends on one's back. I have had three back surgeries in my 65 years but I find my C5 Sport seats to be the most comfortable of any of the many cars I have owned. I can drive 6-7 hours with no discomfort.

Don't have any of those problems with mine. As said, no car is perfect, but I sure do like my C5.

That's actually a good one I forgot about. Bothers me on a coupe too. The front piece always hits the rear speaker grill causing a loud scraping noise. Obviously an easy fix is to remove the cover, which I might do since I have tinted windows to protect from sun damage and prying eyes.

For starters, our C5s are great cars.
The cheesy cup holder design! And they even knew about it but still kept it in!!!!!!! Yea I know you can buy the two cup holder piece and add it. Just adding cheesy on top of cheesy.
In the scope of the world small price to pay for such an extravagant car!

The cup holder, or lack thereof a substantial enough one, is annoying too. The one on the console is so shallow it is worthless. Still don't like any of the aftermarket ones for large fast food fountain drinks or even a coffee mug.

May look cheap but I think it's designed better than the C7. EVERY TIME i enter that car, I smash my knee on the bottom of the hard, plastic, pointy dash.

Mine is with the (lack of) visibility of the HVAC readout, it's too low and the daytime glare makes it difficult to see, resulting in too much time with eyes off the road.
Motoman, like Jprich, I've had a back "issue" since my 20's. I do agree with JP about the seat comfort, but I'll bet you are entering the c7 like any other car, right leg first, then contorting the left to finally sit. My chiropractor insisted, among other things, that I enter a car one way. You must SIT down first, then bring your legs in. I can attest that for the past 45 years since I first hurt myself, it's pretty much the only way to go with cars like ours.

What annoys me the most isn't part of the car , but the lack of replacement parts such as the EBCM from GM. I know their goal is to sell us new cars, but the lack of support from GM is very annoying.

The complete lack of thought for interior storage. We've got a glove box that will hold, a pair of gloves, and that's about it, (of course the gloves fall out every time the door is opened) and a center storage compartment that won't hold anything thicker than a man's wallet. No door storage, no pockets on the back of the seats, nothing.
I did gain some serious storage room when I put in after market seats as they don't go all the way back to the fat guy exit position.
Other than that I love the car.

Worst thing, without a doubt is.... winter. Up here in beautiful Detroit there's either snow, or ice, or inch deep salt or pot holes with their own zip code.
