Default Spent money on something else besides the C5?

Dang it, I blew $14,000 on firearms when I could have spent that on my C5....Old age must be catching up to me. At first I just wanted a six gun because I had plans on doing more things to my C5. Then another six gun caught my eye. Then about a dozen more, and then before I knew it 2 more safes full of rifles....I fell off the C5 mods....

Now I need to refocus and do more to it.

Has this happened to others?

Not sure what you mean...

I just spent almost 13k on my new rear end for my C5.

I have no more spending money for other things

I always end up spending money on the house - it was a custom home (post and beam) which I designed and was the GC for. Just finishing up 2,000+ sq ft of walk out basement, with a full custom bar and all the trimmings...

I don't know what's under that beautiful MCM hood brother, but that ride doesn't look like it has many mod options left available.

I have about 60K invested in antique minuature engines. Could buy a really nice second Vette with that.

LOL!
Most of my money goes to, uh, life. Groceries, mortgage, diapers... my other big ticket item would be my stereo ($25K?), but I don't buy new stuff often.

I had something similar happen this winter. A buddy gave me an AR upper with a barrel knowing that I despise them. Next thing you know, its complete because the tinkering bug bit!

I have ~30K in my two channel music system in a dedicated room downstairs. There is always something I need to buy for my other "hobby" that takes away from the car budget.

Seems like anymore all my extra money goes into doing some sort of remodel to the house. My wife is always finding something she wants to change.
