My V2 lenses started to cloudy over a year after i had them. George said he would work with me on the V3 lens and shrouds. He chose a different material/suplier and it should have resolved that issue. I have had my V3 for 2 years without issues. I would suggest you contact him. He is having some family emergency problems so will be slow to respond for a few days/weeks but i am sure he will work with you.

There are a lot of variables to as why it could melt. Running a hotter higher watt bulb, lens is closer than it should be etc. You dont see a lot of posts saying that so i see it as a one off. Good luck

Warranty vs Useful Life
I would expect a vendor to recognize a difference between "warranty" and "useful life".
When our C5's warranty expired we didn't throw them away; we had an expectation that the cars would be usable well beyond the warranty term.
Given the cost of these headlight packages, I would expect a little more vendor support when such ugly cosmetic results occur within a relatively short time from purchase.
But that's just me....

Drifting
Never had the V2 I went straight to the V3 but no problems so far this will be my third summer with them on. Sometimes slightly hazy as plastic is just not going to be as clear as glass. Impressed overall with the scratch resistance and flexibility looks like it would be worth the upgrade for you guys

The V2 lenses were a PETG material with a UV protective coating. The coating was applied to the flat sheet BEFORE forming from the factory that makes the material. It is possible that washing (particularly with cleaners not designed specifically for plastic) that the remainder of the protective film was removed.
Headlight restoration kits SHOULD work but just make sure to also apply headlight protectant after the hazing has been removed. Most protectant products will last about 3-5 years depending on time in the sun as well as abrasion.
Changes with the V3 kit included using Impact-modified acrylic which is inherently UV stable (no additives or coatings required) We are now using Aircraft-grade polycarbonate which is also UV stable (it has to be)

Warranty period is 1 year. Over the past year, we have been struggling with getting particulates causing imperfections in the lens. We're created new CNC molds from redboard material but we are are still working on getting some kinks worked out. Once we have the finer points of the forming procedure perfected and current orders shipped out, we will work with any customers requiring lens replacements on previous kits.

They look better hazed over, closer to proper flip up lights

My V3 lenses do the same thing when I let the car set in the sunlight and clear up in the shade, have from day 1. Just one problem on a long list of problems I've had with the SLC V3 kit.
