My driver seat moves in a jerky movement when trying to move forward or backwards.Does any one know why?

Probably need to clean and lubricate the mechanism. I have that info at home I can post later.

Minor hijack... This cars has the sport seats. On the outboard seat rail, there is a collection of connectors and wire seemingly attaché that rail. It looks pretty tacky, and I didn't have that on my '02 Z06. Is this normal?
