Default Devil's Highwar Route 666

Over the years I've been envious of those that live east of the Mississippi because they have easy access to some very great roads. That is up until now. My best friend just came back from driving the Divil's Highwy - both direction in one day (a 6 HOUR round trip).

From what I can tell it is the ultimate trip. Has anyone taken it recently?

Our club, the Unofficial Corvette Club, from Phoenix covered a big part of this a few years back.

We went south from Alpine to Morenci then entered New Mexico for the northbound leg. A fun day with a stop at a little Mexican food joint on the NM leg. Arizona has lots of roads like this, particularly, the northern half.

I've been envious also, been through az a couple times and loved the scenery. Also love the swamp scenery of la with the cypress trees and moss though.

From the pics it looks like that would be a fun road to drive on - especially if you like the twisters.
