If you see a vette with the license plate I've got for my avatar then you know it's me.

Amanda, it was great meeting and chatting with you yesterday at the open house. Please pass along my thanks to the leaders at Ridetech for the good food, drink, and overall great car guy/gal event!

I didn't see any C1s or C2s, 3 or 4 C3s, no C4s, 1 C6 and C7, but saw around 10 C5s!

It was great meeting you also! We were very pleased with the turnout and it was a pleasure to provide the hospitality.

So many C5's because they are the best!

On another note, were you driving through Ferdinand Saturday afternoon? I'm 99% sure I passed you near the city limits.

Yes, we did take the car out Saturday to enjoy the nice convertible top-down weather and even managed to avoid the rain that came through the area.

I was chatting with some guys while we were eating at your open house that did the Cars and Cones tour and they told me they really enjoyed driving the Indiana highway 66 part of the tour earlier that day. He showed me a map of their route - going backwards looked like pretty much a straight drop south from the town of English to the Ohio River. With that recommendation decided to check out that drive and it was a very nice sports car section of road.

On our way back north was looking at weather radar to try to avoid rain and ended up driving back up through Ferdinand and then Jasper, so yes you probably did spot me!

It's a very nice road to drive. It's a beautiful drive on a nice crooked road. We always run 145 South out of Birdseye to 62 East to 66. 145 and 62 and nice crooked roads too. Try it in the fall after the leaves have turned colors.

Sounds great - will have to try 145 and 62.

We put a lot of miles on the car with the top down in the spring and fall. Gets too hot in the summer. We even had the AC going with the top down for a while on Saturday.
