Default Need some help identifying this tube

Hello Corvette forum.

I am the new owner of a 2001 black coupe. As I am not the original owner, and since I purchased from a dealer, I have found a rubber tube that seems like it should be connected to somethin, but it isn't and I have no one to ask what it is.

I am hoping someone can identify this tube and let me know what it is and where it goes.

It is located under the hood, driver side, way way down in front by the after market cold air intake. Perhaps if attached to the original intake?

Any help is much appreciated, as I have been looking for a hose diagram, but have not had much help in finding the information I need.

Thanks for the help. !

It's coming from the smog pump under the headlight. It plugged into the factory air box that's removed in your car.

Just ensure there are no open hoses to the air box. Unfiltered air potentially into motor
