I posted my install.
Where did you use 1/4 inch studs? I used 3M tape around the edge where it touches up against the car. There is a indentation that the tape sits in but its a little too deep.

The material is not that thick at all. I was told when this was made or I believe it's in Robs original thread, but he said the only exhaust the he thinks wouldn't fit is the SLP (the one with the huge weird shaped tips) Lol, guess I shouldn't say weird, but it follows the curve of the lower bumper.

Hmmm, for the past few months now I really wanted one. But know after seeing them on the car im not to sure if i like it. I don't know if the pics im seeing is the best angle or what. Just looks out of place on a C5. Not saying its not a good product, just not for me. Think ill pass on this for now.

Yea, I know people would say I'd agree that it's really nice because we made/sell them, but I think it looks great! Let's be honest, this is way nicer than just painting the lower portion black.

A little shaping of the C6Z splash gaurds and it's on. I did use the storm window clips on the sides. I also got some 1/4" flange bolts and rubber washers to go behind 1.5" fender washers and used a hex head #8 bolt in the sides instead of using the supplied hardware. Fits like a glove!

I guess it's too late for me.
Before I did my install I looked for a thicker double sided tape, I didn't find any that was thicker than what I already had. My diffuser is on the car with a double layer of tape and it is good and tight! If you have a brand or part # for the thicker tape it may help people with future installs.

Im seriously considering drilling a couple small holes through the bumper cover to just use a couple screws to hold the top part to the car. I know that goes against the original design plan but I figure it's going to stay on the car anyway so who cares about a couple small holes behind the diffuser.... anyway it fits awesome and tight even without the tape attached but will need to be secured at some point.
