Truly shocked is what I am feeling right now. I always enjoyed his posts and when I seen his avatar was eager to read is responses as they were uplifting and helpful to say the least. I can only speak for myself that he will truly be missed and I wish him a speedy ascent to heaven. The Corvette forum will not be the same without him. Wishing his family my deepest condolences in this difficult time. Rob

My deepest sympathy to the Mr. Sam's wife, his daughter, and all his family. He was a gift to all of us on the forum for his knowledge and approach to solving problems. Although I did not personally meet Mr. Sam, I had several telephone conversations with him trying to resolve an electrical issue. Very sad.

Condolences and prayers to Sam's family, he will be missed.
Just read his obit and looks like along with enjoying Corvettes and the same age, we served in the Navy during the same timeframe.
Rest in peace sailor

I am very saddened to hear. Heart goes out to his family and especially his daughter. I lost my Mom at the same age...something you never fully get over.

OMG!! I've been away from much online CF activity recently and just this morning saw this thread.
Sam's generosity and kindness, to say nothing of his knowledge and skills, will be sorely missed by many of us. Like many others, I had several PM activity sessions with him, and he was always knowledgeable and insightful as well.
Condolences to Sam's family. This day is a bit sadder for us all!!
Godspeed Sam

While I am a newer forum member and personally did not know this gentleman, the outpouring of condolences and testimonies as to his nature speak volumes, in the best sense, about the man. My condolences to family and friends, and Sir, may you rest in peace.
