Default Need help asap....lowering bolts

Have my car in the shop.....they are putting on a Zip lowering kit....got the back end to drop no problem....they have the front bolts all the way up...sticking through where just the urethane spacer is left....car isn't any lower than before....what do you do? Any pictures would be helpful so I can pass this along to them to get the car to drop.

All the best,

Michael Sowerby

To lower the front you turn counterclockwise:

Sometimes the front suspension needs to settle after being lowered or uncompressed. If you want a bigger drop just pull out the front lowering bolts completely, and let the spring rest on the top of the control arm.

You need to drive the car. If it just came off the lift the suspension is bound up and has not settled.

They've driven the car...got it installed correctly...no lower than 27"....I told them to remove the bolt completely and install a thin but hard rubber bushing between the control arm and spring to help with rubbing...hopefully that does it...other wise is coil overs...nicer ride and handling but will hurt the wallet...and with the F55 suspension will have to bypass that.

If you pull the bolt out it will look awesome in pictures but you will hate the ride.

Stopped by the shop on the way home from work....installed correctly...all the way up...just the urethane bushing acting as a spacer....3 fingers worth of gap...rear is perfect at 1 finger worth....very disappointed that this only lowered the car about 1/8" in front.

I guess I'm going to have to invest in some coilovers.
