For fun here's a picture of the largest known gathering of 2004 CE Z06's, taken at the Bowling green Assembly Plant parking lot at the 2014 Caravan/Labor Day Celebration. We hope to do it again in 2019, during the next National Caravan.

Default Is Z16 the RPO?

I have owned a CE Z06 for several years now and have regularly referred to it as a Z16. I recently got a vanity plate w/Z16 on it and was called out on using the term by a buddy. I checked the Corvette Black Book and it does not list an RPO Z16 for any 2004. I do see the Z16 RPO listed on the link listed above from Raff (thank you!). So which is correct? Does anybody have a original build sheet showing the Z16 RPO?

Yes I have the Org. build sheet for my 04 Comm. Z I don't see a RPO number but Z-16 is on the sheet two times . This is what GM says it is Z16 Z06 Comm. ED. ??? I try to get a pic of the sheet..

RPO codes don't lie, all 1900+ Produced for US sale are Z06-Z16 CE's. Or in other words, of Z16 DNA

Congrats on the Z. Nice find

I have an 04 CE coupe that I purchased 9 years ago from the original owner with 8600 miles on it. I've been looking for a CE Z06 to go with it.

Z16 DNA, that sounds like a good idea for a custom plate.

I was reading car mag. a year back can't remember what might have been the doc. office waiting for my App. but I do remember reading in this car mag. a guy did a world wide check for Z-16 Corvette registration 1500 is all he could come up with the rest ??? He seemed to think that's all that's left in the world .That's cool I guess..

There used to be a website, Z16.org, that had a lot of the data. I'm sure it is floating around...
