There's plenty of threads on splitters. I was going to get one but passed. You definitely want one that allows air in the middle, otherwise temps may be a problem.

Here is my thread from when I had the Apsis splitter installed, still love it years later. I'm on my second one actually, but that's no fault of Apsis, hit a trailer hitch sitting in the middle of the road that I couldn't drive around due to traffic. Insurance actually covered it.

And the matching side skirts here:

I have the ACI one on my car and love it. My car is lowered a bit on stock bolts but not all the way down. The front splitter is about 3.5 inches off the ground. No heating issues even here in Phoenix.

Just placed an order for a new ACI front splitter from DDMods after pulling a dumbs__t move by running into a curb at about 5mph. Not good. Likely a $1000 FU.

Here's a picture of the pre-FU

It fit great. It is about 1 inch thick in the middle, thinner on the sides.

I have the C5R lip installed on my C5. I really love the look. While it does make the front of the car about an inch lowers, I still don't scrape leaving the driveway. But i am more careful when driving now and pay attention to the roads so I dont damage my splitter.

My favorite one as it looks snug up against the bottom of the bumper. Sorry don't like the ones with the big gap in between.

i would suggest putting a warning system that buzzes along with a system that pops on your lcd screen when getting close to those parking curbs. i know of a company that develops them. interested let me know not interested i suggest always backing in to protect that investment

have a good one
