I'd say 1.25 or 1.50 tops to start with. I'd say 2" for those that want extreme but I think it's small crowd. At the end of the day I would love to see the availability of a couple of different sizes.

I actually spoke to manufacturing about his the other day. We absolutely need to finish the carbon diffuser first before we start this, but it is on the list.

With that said I need these to be a homerun. I can't keep investing money into molds for C5 parts and just break even. You guy's have all seen it with the diffusers, I had a million people that wanted it built, we built it and so far sales are far from spectacular. I know that doesn't concern any of you but we need to put our money where we'll make the most back. Again, once we have that done, I will bring this up with manufacturing and we'll go from there.

Ahh the age old issue of proof of concept before a prototype. I think that most will want to get a a visual before depositing any $$$. That said I will likely be buying some rear wide body panels this winter, and would be curious to see the corresponding fronts.

Let me know if you are ready to add your name to a list and put a deposit down? I'm not trying to be a jerk, as I mentioned we have the carbon diffuser we need to finish first and get everyone taken care of before we start this.

Pete, I understand your position regarding Return On Investment. I was not one of the ones that desired a bolt on diffuser, I preferred a rear bumper with integrated diffuser so I can't take blame for any disappointment on the sales volume. The crowd here on CF has been the same with all vendors products regarding saying we want something and when the item is available many don't buy it. With that said, only members with more money than brains will put a deposit on a pair of fenders site unseen and then there's the same old delays due to unforeseen circumstances issues that you and other vendors encounter with your manufacturers. Business is a risk for profit industry, if you build a "homerun" as you say we will purchase, applaud your efforts and all be happy for your success. I don't want to sound like a jerk either however you know from experience that once you start a thread like this and it goes silent it gets to be like the boy that cried wolf....members will lose confidence of anything coming to fruition.

I personally want a urethane rear fascia similar to the glass one CC offers, but with great quality and fit. I, as well as several others here as witnessed in my WTB thread, would buy one in a heartbeat if it met those criteria.

We are hoping the diffuser is done, as far as the fix, so once we verify fitment we can start thinking about these. As I mentioned manufacturing already said they are cool making them. We haven't decided carbon or urethane yet, I may go with urethane. The mold cost initially is more, but the actual fenders are cheaper and should fit really well since they'll be able to flex into place as needed.

I get what you're saying, and I was giving you a hard time. However, most of the stuff that I have said I will do I normally do. It may not be in the timeframe people like, but we eventually get to it.

I wouldnt go more than 1" but I am definitely enthusiastic about flares you dont need to spend another $500 for body work just to make them fit like the junk thats been peddled in the past for vettes.
